Old Town streets around Duval Street are narrow. For a minibus or coach, dispatch may set the pickup at the nearest corner a larger vehicle can reach, and the driver tells you where.

Hotels along North Roosevelt Boulevard, in the newer part of the island, have their own drives. Stock Island, just across the bridge, is on the Monroe County list.
