Two speedways, one coach for the whole group

Nobody in the group drives, parks or navigates.

Race fans rarely go alone. A company hosting clients, a team of coworkers, a church group or a set of friends who go every year all face the same problems: parking, traffic and the long drive home after a day in the stands. A private coach solves all three. The group boards at one place, rides together and comes home on the same coach.

Ace runs transportation to two tracks. Daytona International Speedway, home of the Daytona 500, is up the Atlantic coast in Daytona Beach. Homestead-Miami Speedway is at the south end of Miami-Dade County, close to home for groups in Miami-Dade, Broward and the Keys.

A coach also takes the worry out of the end of the day. Nobody watches the clock for the drive home or wonders who is fit to drive after hours in the sun. Everyone rides.

Daytona: a long day up the coast

Daytona Beach is well north of Ace's area, so a Daytona 500 bus trip is a long day. The coach leaves early, runs north on I-95 or Florida's Turnpike, and brings the group home after the race. Ace runs late returns. Drivers' hours rules apply, so the day is planned with the quote and the departure time from the track is agreed before you book. Every Ace vehicle has Wi-Fi, GPS tracking and onboard cameras, which helps on a long ride up the coast.

Ace quotes the race as a round trip from South Florida in a single day. Groups in Port St. Lucie, Stuart or Jupiter are already part of the way up and can board later than a group in Miami. Several pickups on the way north are possible; list them when you ask for a quote.

Homestead-Miami Speedway, close to home

Close to home, and still easier by coach.

Homestead-Miami Speedway sits among the farm fields and plant nurseries of south Miami-Dade. Groups from Miami, Kendall and the Keys have the shortest ride; groups from Broward or Palm Beach County come down Florida's Turnpike.

A race weekend can span more than one day. A group staying at a South Florida hotel can book the coach for each day it needs, with the same pickup point every morning and the same ride back each evening.

Homestead also suits a group already in the Keys. The coach picks up at hotels in Key Largo or Islamorada, runs north on US-1 to the track and goes back down the same road after the race.

Track rules and the ride home

Each speedway sets its own rules for charter coaches: where they unload, where they park and when they may leave the lot. Those rules are on the speedway's official website. Read them before race day and send dispatch what you find.

Ace is not affiliated with either speedway or with the race organizers. Tickets and admission are bought from them, never from Ace.

Roads around a speedway clear slowly after the race. Name one group leader, agree on a meeting point and a departure time before anyone leaves the coach, and have the leader count heads at the door before it moves. The coach leaves when the track lets charter vehicles out, and the driver takes it from there.

What sets the price of a race day coach

Track, headcount and pickups drive the quote.

Every race trip is quoted. Book as soon as the group commits, because the date is part of the price.

Gear changes the coach choice. A group carrying coolers and folding chairs needs bay space, so give dispatch a rough count along with the headcount.

Proof for company hosts

Licensed and insured for the whole Florida run: USDOT 1310399.

Companies that take clients to the track often need vendor paperwork. Ace Tours Inc is an active intrastate passenger carrier under USDOT 1310399, and Daytona Beach and Homestead are both inside Florida. The company carries $5,000,000 liability coverage and sends certificates of insurance on request.

Groups bigger than one motorcoach ride on several, drawing on a partner-fleet capacity of 40+ vehicles. For other game days and big events, see Event Shuttles.

How it works

How a race day transportation trip runs

  1. Illustration of a cap, a tube of sunscreen, a folded rain poncho, ear protection muffs and a small soft cooler on a stone bench beside a hotel entrance

    Pack for a day outdoors

Hats, sunscreen, a rain layer and ear protection for the noise. Check the track's bag rules before anything goes on the coach.

  2. Illustration of a white Ace Tours & Bus Charters motorcoach waiting with its door open under a hotel entrance canopy in South Florida in the morning

    Board early at the hotel

The coach waits in the hotel driveway with its door open while the morning is still cool. The group boards together, tickets in hand.

  3. Illustration of an empty rest area lawn with a picnic shelter among tall pine flatwoods in Florida

    A stop on the way

On a Daytona run the coach heads north through pine flatwoods and stops once so the group can stretch and refill water.

  4. Illustration of a white Ace Tours & Bus Charters motorcoach parked in a wide paved lot lined with orange cones, flat open land behind, side view

    Into the coach lot

At the track the coach parks where charter vehicles are sent. The group walks in together and knows exactly where to come back.

Race Day Transportation: common questions

Something else on your mind? Call (954) 250-6667.

How much is a Daytona 500 bus trip from Miami?

Each race trip is quoted from the headcount, the pickup points and how long the coach waits. Call (954) 250-6667 or send the quote form.

Do you sell race tickets?

No. Ace provides the coach and the driver only. Tickets and admission come from the speedway or the race organizer.

Can the coach pick up in more than one city?

Yes. Add every pickup when you book. On a Daytona trip they fit in order on the way north. Groups in Palm Beach County or on the Treasure Coast often board last.

Does the coach wait at the track during the race?

It can, if you book it that way. The coach waits where the speedway sends charter vehicles, and the quote covers those hours.

Can you take us to Homestead-Miami Speedway on more than one day?

Yes. Ace can quote a run for each day you need, from the same hotel or meeting point.

How big a group can ride?

One full size motorcoach seats 56. Larger groups travel on several coaches at once.
