Homestead is near the south end of mainland Miami-Dade, where the Turnpike meets US-1 by Florida City and the road turns toward the Florida Keys. MIA is the airport for Homestead, north up the Turnpike. FLL is much further on, past all of Miami-Dade, and only worth it when the flight is there.
Because the run north is long, book the pickup well ahead of check-in and let dispatch allow for Turnpike traffic at rush hour.
