Airline crews between the airport and the crew hotel

Terminal to crew hotel and back, on your schedule.

Airline crews land, clear the terminal and need a ride to the crew hotel, then back to the airport for the next departure. Ace runs those transfers at Miami International (MIA), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) and Palm Beach International (PBI), timed to the crew schedule your scheduling team sends.

A van suits a single cockpit and cabin crew. A minibus or a full size motorcoach suits a hotel that houses several crews at once, or a day with a wave of arrivals. The vehicle is booked for crews only, not a shared airport ride with the public.

Early report times and late arrivals

Illustration of an empty covered shuttle shelter with a metal bench at the edge of a very large, empty parking lot near an airport, light poles and palmsPickups move when the flight does.

Crew days do not keep office hours. A hotel pickup can come well before dawn for a first departure, and the last arrival of the night can land after midnight. Dispatch answers 24/7, so a schedule change at 3 a.m. reaches a person, not a voicemail.

Delays are part of the job. When a flight runs late, the crew scheduler or the crew itself tells dispatch, and the pickup moves to match. Agree in advance where the vehicle waits at each terminal and at the hotel, so the crew walks straight to it at the end of a long duty day.

Send the crew schedule as far ahead as your system allows, plus a contact who can confirm changes at any hour. A standing schedule can be adjusted week to week without rebooking.

Construction crews to the job site

From the remote lot to the gate at shift change.

Large construction jobs often park their workers away from the site, at a remote lot or a staging yard, and shuttle them in. Ace runs that loop at shift start and shift end, and can add a midday run when the site needs one.

Send the lot address, the site gate, the shift times and the size of the biggest shift. The driver uses the gate and the parking spot the site manager assigns, and crews board with their tools and lunch bags.

Storm restoration crews in hurricane season

Illustration of a gravel storm staging yard after a hurricane, stacked wooden utility poles, large cable reels and rows of orange cones under clearing grey cloudsStaging area to job site, every day of the restoration.

After a hurricane, restoration crews arrive from out of the area and gather at staging areas: large lots where materials, equipment and people are organized before the work begins. Crews then need daily rides from staging and from their lodging to the neighborhoods where they work.

Ace runs those crew moves for utility storm restoration work in hurricane season, from Port St. Lucie to Key West. The timing comes from the restoration plan, so send the staging address, the lodging, the work areas and the crew counts as soon as they are known, and dispatch builds the runs from there.

Roads, fuel and hotel rooms are all under pressure after a storm. Plans change daily, so name one coordinator who can confirm the next day's runs every evening. For moving senior communities, hospital staff, schools and other groups out ahead of a storm, see Hurricane Evacuation Transportation.

Long-term contracts or a single job

Months on a contract, or one job at a time.

Airlines, contractors and restoration firms book crew transportation two ways. A long-term contract covers a standing schedule for months: the same routes, the same pickup points and vehicles assigned to the work. A per-job booking covers a short project, a single storm response or a week of extra crews.

Under a contract, Ace sets fixed routes and times, and keeps standby vehicles in the plan so a breakdown or a surge in riders does not leave a crew at the curb. Larger programs can draw on a partner-fleet capacity of 40+ vehicles. For staff shuttles at offices and other workplaces, see Employee Shuttles and Contract Transportation; for medical centers, see Hospital Staff Shuttles.

Records your safety and procurement teams need

Tracking, cameras and insurance on file.

Every vehicle has GPS tracking, Wi-Fi and onboard cameras. Ace Tours Inc was incorporated in Florida in 1999, is an active passenger carrier under USDOT 1310399 and carries $5,000,000 liability coverage, with certificates of insurance on request for your company or your client.

Each crew program is quoted from the schedule you send: the routes, the shift or flight times, the days, the crew sizes and how long the program runs. Ace prints no rates.

How it works

How a crew transportation trip runs

  1. Illustration of a row of black rolling suitcases and small flight bags standing beside a stone column under a hotel entrance canopy

    Bags ready at the hotel

Crew bags stand by the entrance column at the agreed pickup time, so loading takes a minute.

  2. Illustration of a white Ace Tours & Bus Charters motorcoach with its door open at an airport ground transportation curb under a long concrete canopy

    Pickup at the terminal curb

After landing, the crew walks to the ground transportation curb, where the coach waits with its door open.

  3. Illustration of a construction site entrance gate with green mesh fencing, orange barriers and a folding table holding white hard hats and safety vests

    At the site gate

On a construction job, the run ends at the site gate, where crews pick up hard hats and vests for the shift.

  4. Illustration of a white Ace Tours & Bus Charters motorcoach parked on a gravel lot beside a construction site, a half-built concrete building and a tower crane behind

    The coach waits on site

The coach parks where the site manager directs and is ready for the return run when the shift ends.
