Getting guests to the end of the road
Everyone rides down together, no rental cars.
A Key West wedding is almost always a destination wedding. Guests come from far away, and many fly into Miami International (MIA) or FLL, where there are more flights, then face the long drive down the Overseas Highway.
Ace can run that leg for them. A one way coach meets the guest block at MIA or FLL and brings everyone down to Key West together, so guests do not rent cars they will barely use on the island. At the end of the weekend, the same plan runs in reverse. For the one way transfer on its own, see Miami to Key West. Guests who fly straight into Key West International (EYW) are picked up at the airport too.

Guests on different flights can be grouped by arrival time, with one coach per wave. Send the flight list and dispatch builds the plan.
Shuttles on the island
One meeting point for each cluster.
Once guests arrive, they spread out. Key West weddings fill small guesthouses and inns in Old Town as well as larger resorts, and the ceremony may be on a beach, in a garden or on the waterfront.
The shuttle ties it together:
- Guesthouses to the ceremonyFrom each cluster
- Ceremony to receptionAfter the sunset ceremony
- Late loops backTo the guesthouses after the party
- Other daysA welcome evening or farewell brunch

Give guests one clear meeting point per cluster, such as a corner near their guesthouses, and print the shuttle times on the welcome card.

Sunset ceremonies and island timing
The schedule follows the sun. Many Key West couples plan the ceremony for sunset, so the shuttle schedule follows the sun. Give dispatch the time guests must be seated and the first run leaves early enough to make it.
Old Town lanes are narrow, parking is scarce and evening streets near Duval Street are crowded with people on foot. A minibus handles those streets better than a full size coach. Set one meeting corner for guests at small guesthouses without a front drive. For how Ace runs weddings elsewhere in the region, read Wedding Transportation.

- Smaller vehiclesA minibus for Old Town
- One meeting cornerFor guesthouses without a front drive
Vehicle size for island and highway
Big coach for the highway, smaller for the island.
The two jobs may need different vehicles. The long run from MIA or FLL suits a full size motorcoach with luggage bays. The island loops suit something smaller.
A minibus for the couple and their party lets the sunset photos run long while the guests ride ahead.

How it works
How a wedding transportation key west trip runs

Picture the ceremony
Tell dispatch where the arch and chairs will stand on the sand, and where guests should step off so they reach their seats without a long walk.

Pickup at the inn
A coach waits at the inn by the porch and white railings with its door open, and guests board for the ceremony run. Guests at nearby guesthouses walk to the same stop.

Through the quiet streets
The coach rolls through quiet Key West streets lined with tropical gardens, avoiding the busiest blocks near Duval Street.

After the sunset
When the sky turns pink and the torches are lit, the coach waits beside the venue to take guests back to their guesthouses.
Wedding Transportation Key West: common questions
Something else on your mind? Call (954) 250-6667.
How much does wedding transportation in Key West cost?
Each wedding is quoted from the airport runs, island loops, vehicle sizes and dates. Send your plan for a written quote.
Can you bring our guests from Miami airport to Key West?
Yes. A one way coach meets the guest block at MIA or FLL and drives them to their Key West hotels. Send the flights with the request. The coach can run the return trip on departure day too.
Which airport should our guests fly into?
Key West International (EYW) is closest, and Ace picks up there. MIA and FLL usually have more flights, and Ace runs the one way coach from either.
Can a coach reach guesthouses in Old Town?
A smaller coach reaches many of them. Where a lane is too narrow, guests meet at a nearby corner.
How early should we book for a winter or October date?
As soon as the venue is confirmed. High season and Fantasy Fest week are the hardest times to find vehicles in the Keys.
Does the shuttle wait through the reception?
It can. Book it to stay, or to drop off and return for the late loops.
