Cruise and airport

Ace Tours Inc runs private and group transfers from any Fort Lauderdale hotel to Port Everglades, and every ride is quoted before you book. Call (954) 250-6667 or use the quote form to get yours. Very few Fort Lauderdale hotels run a free shuttle to Port Everglades for every guest. As of October 2026, we found ten hotels whose own websites describe a ride to the cruise port: one offers it free to guests who reserve it, two include it only with a cruise package, and the rest charge a fee or do not say. Check with the hotel before you book, because these services change often. When the hotel shuttle does not fit your group, your bags or your timing, a booked Ace transfer fills the gap.

How we built this list

Cruise forums and booking sites repeat old hotel shuttle claims for years after a service stops. So we only used one source: each hotel's own official page, on its brand site or its own domain, read in October 2026. If a hotel's page did not mention a ride to Port Everglades, it is not here, even if travelers say it has one.

We left out hotels whose own pages say the ride is run by an outside company, hotels whose pages contradict themselves, and pages with clearly out of date text. We also left out the fee amounts. Hotels change them, and the hotel should quote you the current one.

How to confirm a hotel cruise shuttle before you book

Call the hotel directly, not the brand's central reservations line, and ask the front desk these questions. Write down the name of the person you spoke to and the date.

  • Does the hotel run the shuttle itself, or book an outside service?
  • Is it free, and if not, what is the fee per person?
  • What times does it leave on my sailing date, and do I need to reserve a seat?
  • Is it first come, first served, and what happens when it is full?
  • Does it go back to the hotel or the airport after the cruise?
  • Is there a limit on bags, strollers or wheelchairs?

Why free is rarely the whole story

Most hotel cruise shuttles work well for a couple with two suitcases. They get harder when the hotel has many cruise guests on a busy sailing morning, when your family needs more seats than the shuttle holds, or when the departure time is earlier or later than your check-in window.

The return trip is the other gap. Several hotels only run the ride to the port, not back from it. After the cruise you may land at the pier with all your luggage and need a way to FLL, MIA or home. Arrange that leg before you sail, whichever option you use.

When a booked transfer beats the hotel shuttle

A hotel shuttle is a good deal when it fits. A booked transfer makes more sense in these cases:

  • Your party is too big for one hotel shuttle run.
  • Your group is split across two or more hotels and wants to arrive together.
  • You have more bags than a hotel van usually takes.
  • The hotel's departure times do not match your boarding window.
  • You need the return leg from the pier to FLL, MIA or PBI (now President Donald J. Trump International, DJT).
  • You want to stop on the way, for example to collect someone at the airport.

How Ace fits in

Ace runs shared rides and private vehicles to Port Everglades from hotels, homes and airports across the area, including FLL, MIA and PBI. For a group it can send a minibus for 15 to 20 people or a full size motorcoach for 56, and it draws on a partner-fleet capacity of 40+ vehicles for larger groups. Smaller parties ride in a Sprinter van with a driver.

Every trip is quoted. Send the date, the hotel, your terminal if you know it, how many people travel and how many bags. Dispatch answers 24/7 in English, Spanish and Portuguese at (954) 250-6667, or by email at [email protected]. See the Port Everglades shuttle page for how pickups work.

Staying near the port without a shuttle

Plenty of good hotels near the port and the 17th Street area do not run a cruise shuttle at all. Do not rule them out. If you like the hotel, book it, then book the ride separately for your sailing morning. A family or group that shares one vehicle often ends up with a simpler morning than a hotel shuttle queue.

Hotels by FLL are another option if you fly in the day before. Many run an airport shuttle but not a port shuttle, so check which one their page actually describes.

Questions travelers ask

Something else on your mind? Call (954) 250-6667.

What hotels offer a free shuttle to the Port Everglades cruise terminal?

As of October 2026, Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale says on its website that it offers a complimentary one-time shuttle to Port Everglades when reserved ahead. Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel and Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel include the ride only with certain packages. Check with the hotel before you book.

Is there a free shuttle from Port Everglades back to the hotel or the airport?

Most hotel cruise shuttles on our list describe the ride to the port, not back. Book your return from the pier before you sail.

Do hotel cruise shuttles take a lot of luggage?

It depends on the hotel's vehicle and how many guests ride that morning. Ask the front desk about bag limits; if your party has more bags than usual, a booked private vehicle is the safer plan.

Can Ace pick up our group from a hotel that has no cruise shuttle?

Yes. Ace picks up at hotels, homes and airports and takes you to Port Everglades. Every trip is quoted, so call with your hotel, date and group size.

How far ahead should we book a Port Everglades transfer?

Book as soon as your cruise and hotel are set, especially for groups and busy sailing weekends. That gives dispatch time to size the vehicle to your people and bags.
